The awareness and acknowledgement of the presence of the Lord is the key thing for our victorious Christian living in Christ. At times we may feel like the Lord is far away from us, especially when we face problems and challenges that flood our lives one after the other. However, the truth of the matter is that His presence is with us all the time. The Bible reveals one of the names of Jesus Christ as Immanuel, God with us. The bible also reveals that the Lord never leaves us nor forsakes us. God’s word is the truth. Our feelings can be deceptive, so we need to go by what the word of the Lord reveals to us.
The best time to thank Jesus for His presence is when we do not feel His presence. No matter where you are the presence of the Lord is with you. Even in the midst of fear, worry, anxieties, and when you are feeling alone in your room, His presence is with you.
The moment you begin to acknowledge the presence of the Lord by thanking and praising Him, then fear, worry, loneliness, and sickness will melt like wax in the presence of the Lord.
It is the presence of the Lord that will keep you free from fear and anxieties. When you know that He is for you and with you, then you can cast your problems unto Him and be free in His presence. When you keep your fear and problems with you, they are heavy and unbearable for you, and will just lead you to further problems.
Remember, Immanuel is with you. He is the source of your peace and strength. He is the provision, protection, providence, peace and wisdom. Acknowledge His presence in your life by thanking Him and praising Him. Give your problems into the hands of the Lord in worship and experience your fears melt at the presence of the Lord.
